About Me

I have an honours degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Cork Institute of Technology. I am an accredited member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP).

I work with people aged 18 and over, and with couples.

My approach to Counselling & Psychotherapy is Person Centred (Humanistic); I believe you are the expert in you. I also believe that you have an inherent ability to heal and grow, to be the best possible version of you. I see it as my role to journey with you, to shine a light in the dark corners and to use my knowledge of human emotional development to help you make sense of your inner world and lived experience; while also teaching some coping skills and tools where necessary.

I tailor my approach to suit each individual. I believe the client knows best and I work at your pace and to the goals that you set.

I have a special interest in Mindfulness which is about living in the moment, learning to self-regulate and reconnecting to the wisdom of our bodies. I have a deep interest in how our personality and lived experience, shapes who we are, and I am committed to helping you better understand, how you came to be you.

“The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are.”
