About Me

I’m a counsellor and psychotherapist based in Watergrasshill, just outside Cork City in North Cork. I hold an M.A. in Integrative Psychotherapy from Munster Technological University (formerly CIT) and a B.A. Honours Degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Cork Institute of Technology. I am currently completing a Diploma in Integrative Adolescent Psychotherapy with the Greenane Centre, and I am an accredited member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP).

I work with adults (18 and over), teenagers/adolescents (12 to 18), and couples. My approach to Counselling and Psychotherapy is Person-Centred (Humanistic). I believe that you are the expert in you, and you possess an inherent ability to heal and grow—to become the best possible version of yourself. I see my role as one of support: to journey with you, shining a light into the dark corners and using my knowledge and training in human emotional development to help you make sense of your inner world and lived experiences. Where necessary, I also teach coping skills and tools to aid in your healing process.

I tailor my approach to suit each individual. I believe that you know best and I work at your pace, supporting you in achieving the goals that matter to you.

I have a special interest in Mindfulness, which focuses on living in the moment, learning to self-regulate, and reconnecting to the wisdom of our bodies. I am deeply interested in how personality and lived experience shape who we are, and I am committed to helping you better understand how you came to be you.

“The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are.”
– Carl Jung
